KEY FEATURES
Tube amp stage
Asymmetric saturation placed after the filter, with DRIVE and BIAS, switchable at any time.
24 dB low-pass filter
CUTOFF and RESO driven by a dedicated ADSR envelope with a bipolar amount control.
Two ADSR envelopes
One for the filter, one for amplitude, set by default to a dub feel: soft attack, long release.
Synced tape delay
Stereo cross-feedback, dotted and triplet divisions or free time in milliseconds, followed by a SIZE / DAMP / MIX reverb.
Monophonic, one voice
One note at a time. GLIDE provides legato portamento, WOW adds the analogue instability of tape.

DUBASS is deliberately monophonic. One note at a time, but a dense low end built from two slightly detuned oscillators and a sine SUB set an octave below.
Stereo width does not come from the bass itself but from the delay and reverb placed behind it, as in dub tradition. The rest is played with GLIDE and WOW.
BODY AND DEPTH
Two detuned oscillators for body, a dedicated SUB for weight. Turn OSC 2 down for a pure sine bass.
ASYMMETRIC WARMTH
The tube amp adds even harmonics after the filter. DRIVE pushes the stage, BIAS sets the asymmetry.
ATTACK AND SUSTAIN
One ADSR for amplitude, a second one for the filter with a bipolar amount towards cutoff.
THE SPACE OF DUB
Tempo-synced tape delay with cross-feedback, then reverb to open up the scene.
