KEY FEATURES
DISTO module, five curves
The grains themselves are distorted: DRIVE (tanh), FOLD (folding), SHAPER (cubic), REDUX (bits and rate) or CHAOTIC (unstable feedback). Every grain freezes its character at birth.
16 seconds of memory
Incoming audio is captured continuously into a rolling 16-second buffer. Up to 32 grains read that past at once, each from its own place.
FREEZE and tempo-locked LOOP
FREEZE holds the sound of the instant: grains only read a 250 ms window, a suspended cloud. LOOP cycles the last 1, 2, 4 or 8 bars: autoslice snaps it to your host’s bar lines wherever you clicked, and you can drag the region by hand inside the waveform.
Matrix: 4 LFOs × 8 routings
Each LFO has its shape and a free or synced rate (dotted and triplets included). Eight connections to any control, or to the gates, which switch a module on in time with the LFO.
Master filter and 30 presets
Low-pass, band-pass or high-pass filter with resonance on the wet signal. Thirty factory presets in six families: SUBTLE, RHYTHMIC, TEXTURES, REVERSE, LO-FI and CHAOS.
IT LISTENS TO THE PAST.
IT REPLAYS IT DIFFERENTLY.
MICRO constantly captures whatever comes in. Grains, short windowed fragments, pick from that memory and replay it according to the module that fired them: scattered, stuttered, reversed or burnt.
Drop it on a drum loop, turn STUTTER and DISTO on, route a synced square LFO to a gate: the pattern tears itself apart in time. Feedback feeds the capture itself, the texture degrades and evolves on its own.
STACK THE CHARACTERS
One module to stay readable, all four for the storm. Every grain carries the character of the module that fired it.
MODULATION YOU CAN SEE
Every modulated control wears a ring in its LFO colour, with a dot riding along it. The MODULATION tab gathers everything that moves on one screen.
SUSPEND TIME
FREEZE for a timeless cloud, LOOP for a tempo-locked looper-glitcher. Both can be automated.
